Without quality people to place on assignment, we would not have the customer satisfaction levels we do, and our clients would not keep coming to us for solutions to their staffing needs.

Keeping our employees and clients in mind, Todays recently implemented two technology solutions that are providing us new tools to better serve you! Our new Web site, www.todays.com, has more information, and is easier to navigate. You can even go online to update your resume/profile or search available jobs. Also, more up-to-date and relevant career tips have been added for your reference. Our new fully-integrated staffing software solution, StaffSuite, launched in January, helps us to better find that perfect job opportunity for you!

Index Surges on Managers’ Hiring Forecast
(Data collected during February 2006)
The Hudson Employment IndexSM climbed to 108.2 in February, up 5.6 points from January’s 102.6 reading. The rise is attributed to a significant increase in the percentage of workers and managers who expect their employers to hire, as well as improved expectations regarding personal finances.  The latest Index is among the strongest readings on record, and considerably higher than the 102 recorded in February 2005.

Workforce Foresees Hiring Bump
Workers overall were more likely to anticipate hiring in February than at the very start of the year.  One-third (33 percent) of the workforce indicated their firms had plans to hire, the most optimistic they have been in this respect since October 2004.  This figure had held steady near 30 percent for the last four months.  Notably, 45 percent of managers in the private sector projected an increase in head-count, up from 38 percent in January.  There was also a four-point jump to 34 percent in the number of all managers forecasting hiring within their organization. 

Confidence in Personal Finances Supports Worker Optimism
Worker sentiment regarding their financial situations also improved in February.  The number who rated their finances favorably (good or excellent) was at its highest level on record at 46 percent.  At the same time, there was a one-point increase among employees who said their finances were improving to 43 percent, a level that has not been topped since last February.

The Hudson Employment IndexSM measures the U.S. workforce's overall confidence in the employment market. It tracks aggregate trends affecting employment such as hiring intentions, financial security and job satisfaction.

An Important Message from Todays Staffing
Recently, Todays Staffing implemented a new Windows-based candidate database management system. Contact your local branch office, who will assign you a password and logon that will give you the ability to create and maintain your personalized profile - online. You will be able to view and easily update your contact information, career information, preferences, resume, and availability status. This easy-to-use system will assist you in providing Todays with the most up-to-date information available. This will improve our ability to locate the right position for you, quickly! You will also be able to search and apply for specific job openings in your area. With this new easy-to-use system, working with Todays will be more convenient than ever!

To begin using the online system, you must first update your profile:

1. Contact your local branch representative for your log in information.
2. Go to www.todays.com.
3. Scroll over "Career Center" in the left navigation area, then select "Login" in the pop-out bar.
4. Enter the user id and password you received from your branch representative, then click "Login."
5. A menu will appear with options for you to make changes/updates to your career information, your preferences or your resume on file. To make these changes, click on the "Update" link to the right of the area you would like to add to or revise.
6. Once you have added the information, you can save and add additional parameters, or return to your profile page.
7. After you have entered information through the Web portal, your profile with Todays is automatically updated, and we can better locate the right position for you!
