2009 was a rough year for the economy and job market, but many believe the New Year is going to ring in with a strong outlook for new jobs. No matter what the economy does, some fields and careers are generally stable and will always have needs for quality workers, and these jobs show lots of promise for 2010.

It is certainly tempting to just forget about job searching during the holidays. You’ve been working hard all year—why not take a few weeks off with everyone else and forget about it for a little while?
